Course objectives of the Bilingual Classes
1. To enhance the interest of young children in learning English through immersive teaching methods and use languages in natural circumstances.
2. To help young children get used to the English environment and take English as one of their daily languages so as to establish an international perspective.
Combine multicultural elements and international culture with the school base curriculum which covered children’s Six Learning Areas (“Physical Fitness and Health”, “Language”, “Early Childhood Mathematics”, “Nature and Living”, “Self and Society” and “Arts and Creativity”).
To use Cambridge English course for regular assessment of young children’s ability toward English listening, speaking, reading and writing.
To create a bilingual language environment by entrusted/ appointed/chosen foreign and local teachers acting as class teachers.
Bilingual teaching in English and Cantonese.
Mandarin classes are held every week in the form of playing games, small group learning, storytelling, reading Chinese and English books, etc.
English & Mandarin Learning Week is held every year.
